Introducing...Brides at Work
Introducing...Brides at Work
Talk about bridal parties in unexpected places... We here at County Wedding Magazines are proud to be supporting the new Brides at Work campaign - a national day on 17th September when brides old and new from all over the country will be wearing their wedding dresses to work to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

In association with The National Wedding Show, brides, bridesmaids, grooms and mother-of-the-brides everywhere are being urged wear their wedding finery and celebrate Brides at Work.

Even if you don't own a wedding dress, you can show your support in other ways. Why not have some fun and get the girls together to host an office bake sale in your tiaras?

It doesn't matter if you got married 20 years ago, or it's currently a work in progress, anyone can help raise money for the fight against breast cancer. For more information, or to register for a Brides at Work fundraising pack, visit www.breakthrough.org.uk/get_involved/raise_money/brides_at_work/

Pure eco chic!
Pure eco chic!
Here at County Wedding Magazines, we love hearing about all the different eco-friendly wedding paraphanalia on the market - so we were delighted to read about the range of products from Shropshire Petals. The company's delicate petal confetti comes straight from its fields in Shropshire and includes a whole variety of colours and scents, all in environmentally friendly packaging.

All about flowers
All about flowers
Learn all about wedding flowers when you spend an afternoon with Basingstoke florist Emma Lappin at the elegant Elvetham Hotel on 20th June. This special event is designed to help brides-to-be decide which colours, styles and seasonal blooms would be best for their big day.
The event also covers trends for bouquets and table decorations, how to get the most of your flower budget, demonstrations on table decorations, as well as top tips and advice about creating your own arrangements.

This is also a relaxing occasion for brides to get together with their mums and girlfriends as they plan the wedding together. The price for the afternoon is £15, which includes an afternoon tea. To book, call Emma Lappin Flowers on 01256 473 839 and quote 'An Afternoon with Emma Lappin Flowers'.
